ABOUT GOAT WAVY

Goat Wavy, born in Mount Vernon New York, emerged on the hip-hop scene in
2019 with his emotionally charged debut track "Fascination" a passionate tale of
the streets allure delivered over a powerful baseline track that races with an
undertone of hunger that listeners can't help but feel. Then in 2020 Goat Wavy
followed with a string of noteworthy singles which included his first EP "The
Prequel", A six track soulful homage to his passion for music, "The Prequel" boast
a theme of growth through struggle and oneness on the road to success. A theme
embodied in the feature track "Youngins"  and other tracks like "Costless" a lyrical
hymn to the price of success and the ensuing attitudes. Then there's the free
spirited; hippieish track "Caicos" with its mid-west, Cali palm trees, good girl
meets bad boy vibe. In 2021 Goat Wavy's first single, "Microwave" kicked of the
year followed by a string of noteworthy tracks like “Believe Me” and “Ran Wit It.”
He closed out 2021 strong with his first feature, “Ventin” feat. Tgifly, which sees
Wavy veer back to a more traditional New York style of flow. Now in 2022 , Goat
Wavy is gearing up for a career defining year which will see the release of “Broken
and No Filter” featured on the movie soundtrack ANONYMOUS KILLERS. Followed
by his label Stand Down Music Group’s (SDMG) upcoming compilation EP
“Atlanta, Atlanta” featuring label mate AJ Supa Fly commemorating their
experience at Atlanta’s One Mic One Love Showcase. Rounding out this slate of
music with his solo project “Hip-hop Junkie” a back to the basics EP rooted in the
tradition of New York hip-hop and his experiences growing up. When asked about
his name Goat Wavy, he says "My Wave is GOAT, my flow is Al Green of the Trap
(soulful). That’s me.... I’m the Spokesman for those who share similar
experiences; yet don’t have a voice. I want to win for us."
